About the Founder and about this Center
Welcome to Montreal Wellness Center. My name is Emma and I am a graduate of AnandaOm Academy and a member of AQTN. I welcome anyone who is looking for healing on any level whether it be physical, emotional, or mental through natural methods such as Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy and Yin Yoga. I also offer nutritional advice and teach Reiki classes for you to embark on a journey to self heal, and realize your full potential.
Reiki therapy has been known to be effective in helping any disease and disorder of the body and mind. It is a therapy that works well in conjunction with other medical and therapeutic techniques, improving side effects from medications and speeding recovery.
Reiki also alleviates pain and awakens life force energy allowing the body to regenerate itself. This method is ancient and is able to work with every persons unique energy field. Our ability to direct, and attract life-force energy is fundamental to our well-being. The more this energy is directed efficiently the more we can enjoy happiness, well-being and health.
Our center also offers Craniosacral Therapy. CST is a hands-on healing technique which connects the healer to the breath of life (movement of the CSF) of the patient as well as the tidal rhythms of the body. When in connection with these forces, the practitioner can examine their movement and flow and determine where there is a disruption in the flow of energy. Using intent to generate harmony and ease of flow of this energy back to its original motion, healing of the body can take place.
The breath of life is the natural and vital life force energy that passes in a tide-like motion up and down the spine. As long as the breath of life is expressed health will follow. CST is also referred to as bodywork technique in which the therapist will also work to palpate the joints of the cranium and sacrum. Palpating these joints will help to realign and/or release any blocked energies that may be leading to disease or dysfunction of the flow of energy in the body.
Yoga: The Yin Zone: the center also offer yin yoga classes. Come and join me for an invigorating and rejuvenating experience!
The yin zone is a relaxed, deep and open state of introspective awareness. In this quiet state we can more readily receive messages from our intuition and connect to our higher consciousness. When we are in this zone we source our energy within, release physical, mental and emotional tensions and open ourselves to deep healing.
Montreal Wellness Center is a place that welcomes all. We are a community of naturotherapists and spiritual healers who are working together to achieve a common purpose. We want to help people to awaken to their full potential as a human being and provide the opportunity to become teachers and practitioners helping others to awaken in their unique way.
Come join us on the path to wellness.
